Overview

A quiet landmark on Dunearn Road

Dunearn House sits on the northern edge of Bukit Timah Turf City — the 176-hectare precinct URA has earmarked for roughly 15,000 to 20,000 new homes, two new MRT stations and a restored rail corridor. It is the first private residential development released within that plan.

The site carries a long identity as a place of recreation and gathering, and the development is planned around that memory rather than against it: low-slung communal pavilions set into mature planting, water running the length of the central spine, and residential blocks pulled back from Dunearn Road behind a deep green buffer.

At 145,256 sqft the land supports 380 homes across two- to four-bedroom configurations, from 527 sqft compact two-bedders through to 1,378 sqft four-bedroom premium plus study layouts. Sixth Avenue MRT on the Downtown Line is a four-minute walk; the future Turf City station is seven.

For buyers, the argument is sequence. Precinct-scale redevelopment tends to price its first release against today's context and its later releases against the finished picture — and everything else in Turf City is still on the drawing board.
